Indoor Rowing Classes
No experience is necessary. Come out to Lake Lanier Rowing Club and learn INDOOR rowing on the world’s most popular rowing machine. Classes are designed for beginners of any age or ability and will be held at one of the best facilities for rowing in the southeast!
There are only 20 seats in each class, so please contact the LLRC Office or the instructor below to check on space availability.
Classes will include:
Indoor Rowing Technique
Use and Care of the rowing machine (ergometer or “erg”)
Whole body exercise
Individual intensity and pace
Goal setting and Fitness development
How to continue training on the rowing ergometer
After several initial classes the participants are welcome to join the Monday and Wednesday evening (6:30) indoor rowing sessions of the LLRC Adult Program at no additional charge.
We will meet in the upstairs indoor training room at the Lake Lanier Rowing Center, site of the 1996 Olympic Rowing events. Each class will begin with a short technical instruction on some aspect of using the “ergs” then continue with group training at a pace determined by each participant.
