Taste of Gainesville is a Success!

Thanks to the hard work of our volunteers and participating restaurants and sponsors, the 2009 Taste of Gainesville was a success! Even though the rain drove the event indoors, over 600 people came to sample signature dishes from 34 of the areas best restaurants. A long time patron of the event, Faye Markey, commented “you guys have outdone yourselves this year!” Local musicians Luke Pinder (gutarist/vocalist), Walter Biel (classical gutarist), Daniel Ecke (gutarist/vocalist) regaled the crowd with both original pieces, and covers to popular songs by James Taylor, Dave Matthews and others.
