Bring Rowing Indoors!

Come out on Saturday, Jan 26th, to the Lake Lanier Rowing Club boathouse and take a seat in its annual Mark Williams Ergatta, a friendly little indoor rowing competition open to all ages...rowers and non-rowers.  An ergatta is an indoor rowing competition where participants race on erg machines.  Our Concept2 ergometers will be connected to computers, tracking times and positions, that simulate a rowing event typically held on water.  Positions and distance rowed by each participant will be projected on a big screen during an event.

Competitors can sign up to race in Middle School (under 15 yrs and that covers 1000 meters), Juniors (under 18 yrs), Open and Masters (adult) events that cover 2000 meters, 500 meter sprints, and/or relays.

This is a fun, community-supported fundraiser hosted by LLRC.  Proceeds go to the Mark Williams Scholarship Fund, benefitting participants in the LLRC Youth program.

Racing begins at 8:30am.  We encourage you to register early to reserve your spot in an event.  An LLRC waiver is required to be signed before participating.  If space allows on race day, last minute registrations will be accepted from 7:30 - 8:30am at the check-in table.
